Portable Charcoal Grills

Why use a portable grill?

In my humble opinion, safety is the main reason to use a portable charcoal grill.  Fires can be built in nearly all your favorite outdoor spots - from the beach to the woods. 

 The problem arises though that many people are untrained in how to properly start, maintain, and extinguish a camp fire.  Records show that 95% of wild fires are started by human hands and the majority of these I would guess come from careless campfires.

For a more personal reason, I'd like to ask, "have you ever tried to cook with a flame exposed to the wind?" It's brutal to maintain an appropriate temperature to cook at, isn't it?

I can't tell you how much food I've cooked that was black on the outside and raw on the inside, that is, until I started using a portable grill.  I must not be alone in this realization since google shows >600,000 searches a month for the Weber portable grill alone!!

I won't pretend to be an expert camper and regardless if you've been doing it for years or just starting out there is always something new you can learn.
