Rubs vs Sauces - Which Do You Prefer?

Great Rubs
For a great rub, try to use fresh spices. Once mixed, your new rub will
last 4-6 months if properly stored in an airtight container so double or triple the recipe to be ready for the
charcoal grill season!
Traditional Savory Rub
Prep

Ingredients
1/4 cup paprika
2 tablespoons granulated
garlic
2 tablespoons granulated
onion
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh
cracker black pepper
2 tablespoons
cumin
2 tablespoons
coriander
1/4 cup kosher salt
1/4 cup light brown sugar
Directions
Combine all ingredients
in a zip lock bag and shake until evenly combined. Rub on the meat directly or coat in a plastic storage bag.
This will all be a waste of time if you don’t dry your meat first so pat dry with paper towels before applying
the rub!
